Continuing the theme of home security People United Against Crime worked with the four police forces in the region to address the continually recurring problem of distraction burglary.
These criminals, often described as 'bogus callers' trick their way into people's home, frequently by claiming to represent a utility such as electricity, water or gas servicces.
200,000 leaflets were produced for a targeted distribution to vulnerable households throughout the region.
